Two of my dearest friends pastor a thriving, growing church in Southern Maryland.  When I learned their Singles Ministry was hosting a trivia contest with prizes, I immediately knew I wanted to volunteer.  I contacted the ministry director and shared with her that I wanted to donate some of my custom tee shirts and mugs as prizes.  She was. more than excited and told me exactly how I could satisfy my ""benefactor urge."  

 

And then I thought to myself, "I wonder if

they are awarding any kind of grand prize . . . Hmmmm . . . I think I'd like to sponsor a mini photo shoot."  And then, "BAM!!"  We made it happen!

Dakota Gant was the grand prize winner!  

 

Yaaaaaay, Dakota!  I met here for the first time at our photo shoot at National Harbor. It was an early morning shoot when the sun was just coming up (the way  like it) and she was extremely shy – at first.  But then, a butterfly showed up on the scene and Baby, did the tables turn!  Dakota turned on the charm and lit my camera lens up!  She was an absolute joy to work with, as you can see!
